Michelle A. Williams: Michelle Williams practices in the areas of family law and real estate law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Williams was an associate with The Szymoniak Firm, P.A., in Palm Beach, Florida, specializing in white-collar workers’ compensation premium fraud actions on behalf of insurance companies, and Qui Tam actions. She was also an editor for the Fraud Digest magazine and its website reporting on white-collar fraud actions.

Professional & Community Involvement:
Ms. Williams is a member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Chinese Cultural Foundation. She is a former member of the Management Committee for both the Chinese Cultural Foundation and its predecessor, the Chinese Cultural Association, as well as the former editor of the Foundation’s newsmagazine, The Dragon. Ms. Williams is also a former member of the Spellman-Hoeveler American Inn of Court.
Michelle is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.

Ms. Williams served as the Managing Editor for the Inter-American Law Review, where she was the recipient of the Inter-American Law Review’s Lillian R. Levy Award for her achievement in legal research and writing and dedication to the improvement of the Review. Ms. Williams was also the Co-Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor for the law school’s yearbook, Amicus Curiae. She was a member of the Society of Bar and Gavel; Alpha Epsilon Lambda; and Phi Delta Phi. While in law school, Ms. Williams was a Certified Legal Intern at the Office of the U.S. Trustee, and a legal clerk at Assurant Group (f/k/a American Bankers Insurance Group). She also served as a research assistant to Professors Martha R. Mahoney and Susan Stefan. In the fall of 2000, Ms. Williams was inducted into the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest honor attainable at the University of Miami.
