Christopher J. Bailey: Mr. Bailey’s substantive areas of practice include Appellate Practice, Commercial Law, Landlord-Tenant, Real Property Litigation and Arbitration. Education: Mr. Bailey received his juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1994, graduating in the top 15% of his class. While in law school, Mr. Bailey was an Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Substantive Criminal Law. As an Associate Editor, Mr. Bailey authored A Proposed Anti-Trust Regime for NAFTA. Prior to law school Mr. Bailey earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and European History from Brown University in 1988.
Professional Affiliations: Mr. Bailey is a member of the Florida Bar, the Conference of Freight Counsel, Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy, the American Bar Association, the Southeastern Admiralty Law Association, the Dade County Bar Association and the Cuban American Bar Association, as well as the Appellate Practice and International Law Sections of the Florida Bar. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. South Florida Legal Guide magazine recently named Mr. Bailey a “Top Up and Comer” in the field of commercial law.
